Hi!
I’m Amy and I tragically became a twinless twin on January 9, 2011 due to a gun accident.
My inspiration behind this blog is simply the strong desire to help those who are struggling with tragedy, mental health, and of course, grief. Through my raw experience with it all, I am inspired to help those struggling. I plan to do this by normalizing grief and providing the tools that helped me not only survive, but thrive. *Note: I also have a Masters Degree in Social Work.
Follow along with me on your journey and I will do my best to help you through the tunnel so you can see the light again. And a very bright one at that.
Keep going,
Amy
Hello Amy – my name is also Amy. I unexpectedly lost my older brother, my only sibling, in 2008. My brother missed my high school graduation, my college graduation, my wedding and now meeting my baby girl born 3.5 months ago. Grief is an ongoing story. It looks different every single day. Thank you for openly sharing your journey with us. Sending love and strength to walk through another day.
Thank you for sharing your journey. Both of my daughters were murdered on 2/3/20 at TX A&M Commerce. They were 19 & 20.
